When you’re the most well-known potato chip brand on the planet, how do you tell a different (and credible) story about the potato? That key question has been at the center of a collaboration between Nomscape and Lay’s since 2023.
Lay’s Churreria (Chipserie in France + Netherlands) is the first step on the journey. Starting with a simple hands-on kitchen workshop in London, we crafted a food experience to give eaters a first taste of what Lay’s can do beyond the bag. Within 5 months, the brand had 3 food trucks touring Europe, piloting the experience and learning loads along the way. The success of this program gave the brand and business confidence not only that Lay’s had more room to stretch, but that a test and learn approach would be key to exploring those boundaries.
