Off The Eaten Path

A more appropriate name for a brand there never was. Off The Eaten Path Seaweed Curls was the first launch from the brand’s London-based incubator team and while the team’s methods for scrappy, rapid work and quick validation was lauded by business journals all over, it was Nomscape’s novel sprint approach that brought the product to market. 

Inspired by Google’s Design Sprint approach, we combined research, trend and validation tools within the company with time-tested design strategy methods to create a new type of lightweight prototyping sprint tailored to the needs (and corporate structures) of the F&B world. Ingredient experts, chefs, designers, marketers, researchers and commercial experts worked together over just 4 days to go from whitespace to market-viable concept. It’s a process we continue to evolve and apply across our portfolio of partner projects.
